Pius Suter, geboren am 24. Mai 1996 in Wallisellen (Schweiz), ist ein vielseitiger Eishockeyspieler, der sowohl als Center als auch als Flügelstürmer eingesetzt werden kann. Der Linksschütze begann seine Karriere in der kanadischen Juniorenliga OHL bei den Guelph Storm, bevor er zu den ZSC Lions in die Schweizer National League wechselte. Dort feierte er 2018 die Meisterschaft und wurde in der Saison 2019/20 als wertvollster Spieler (MVP) ausgezeichnet.
2020 wagte Suter den Sprung in die NHL und spielte zunächst für die Chicago Blackhawks. Nach Stationen bei den Detroit Red Wings und den Vancouver Canucks – wo er in der Saison 2024/25 mit 46 Punkten in 81 Spielen seine bisher beste NHL-Bilanz erzielte – wechselte er im Sommer 2025 zu den St. Louis Blues.
Auch international ist Suter ein erfahrener Spieler: Er nahm an mehreren Weltmeisterschaften und den Olympischen Winterspielen 2018 teil, wo er mit einem Hattrick gegen Südkorea auf sich aufmerksam machte. Suter gilt als intelligenter, beweglicher Zwei-Wege-Stürmer mit Offensivqualitäten und starker Spielübersicht.
