Inti Pestoni wurde am 8. August 1991 in Faido, Schweiz, geboren. Der 1,73 Meter große und 80 Kilogramm schwere Flügelstürmer stammt aus dem Nachwuchs des HC Ambrì-Piotta, wo auch seine professionelle Karriere begann. Mit seiner linken Schusshand bringt er Kreativität, Schnelligkeit und technische Klasse ins Offensivspiel. Pestoni ist bekannt für seine Spielübersicht, seine explosiven Antritte und seine Fähigkeit, enge Spielsituationen mit cleveren Aktionen zu lösen. Trotz seiner vergleichsweise geringen Körpergröße behauptet er sich mit Mut und Entschlossenheit auf hohem Niveau. Er zählt seit Jahren zu den prägenden Figuren im Schweizer Eishockey.
